Oatmeal Raisin Energy Balls (GF/DF/V)
So I love no bake make ahead snacks I can just pull out of the fridge and hand my kids in 2 seconds flat. You feel me? That’s how I came up with these Oatmeal Raisin Energy Balls. They are super easy to make, store well in the fridge, loaded with healthy ingredients but taste like a cookie. No joke, my kids loved them! The base of these delicious treats are gluten free oats, nut butter (I used almond butter), and vegan protein powder. I used Nuzest’s new digestive support protein specially designed for people with digestive trouble. You can grab a jar (and a discount) here. Otherwise, any vanilla protein powder will…

Red Velvet Bliss Balls
These tasty little treats are loaded in healthy ingredients including collagen protein, cacao, and beets. They are great for school lunches, after school snacks or taking with you in your purse or bag. We took these camping and they were gone by the end of the first hike. I use collagen protein in a lot of my recipes. Why? Well, it’s the most abundant protein in the body and while we do make our own, as we get older we make less and less of it. It’s a great supplement for joints, tendons, bone, hair, skin and nails. It’s easy to digest and will not spike your blood sugar like some other protein…

Chocolate Strawberry Bliss Balls (GF/DF/V/Paleo)
Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and I am ALL ABOUT the chocolate strawberry combo. After my food processor caught on fire a few weeks ago (yikes!) I got really excited about the new one I just purchased and had to make these Chocolate Strawberry Bliss Balls right away. They have a Valentine’s feel to them but are gluten free, grain free, refined sugar free, and loaded in nutrients. I even added collagen powder to mine for a real one-two punch. Collagen is an important protein our body makes on it’s own out of the amino acids we eat, but as we get older, we make less of it. This is one…

No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Breakfast Bites (GF/DF/V)
These delicious Chocolate Peanut Butter Breakfast Bites were created after one particular morning when I was running late to take my daughter to school. She asked for breakfast and I yelled at her. Think about that. I yelled at her for wanting breakfast before school. Not my finest moment as a mom. But it did make me stop and think later that I really need to have a “grab and go” breakfast for mornings that are rushed. Obviously it was not my daughter’s fault that I didn’t manage my time well that morning. So later that day, I decided to make a big batch of energy bites that were both loaded in flavor…

Paleo Pumpkin Spice Bliss Balls (GF/DF/V/Paleo)
Who is looking for super quick and healthy snacks for you or your family? Me. I am. LOL. Seriously though, we are like snack warriors in this house and it’s so easy to grab packaged garbage that I really need recipes like these Paleo Pumpkin Spice Bliss Balls to get me through busy days without grabbing junk. Can you relate? I used Nutsola’s LIMITED EDITION Pumpkin Spice Superfood Mix as the base of this recipe. If you don’t know about this great company, it’s a father son start up company based out of New Jersey. They offer gluten and grain free products that you can use to make bars, granola like toppings or…
